    • Eden Finley

Eden Finley is a steamy romance author by day, but Batman at nightOkay, I m not Batman, but I feel like I am I have a cool secret name and everything.I have several Young Adult works published under my real name For this reason, I chose a pen name to write for this genre Well that, and I don t want my mother to read these books Seriously, how freaking awkward would that be

    • Really enjoyed this one! This is a story about two guys that are struggling with being out, coming out, how it will effect their relationships with their friends and family, acceptance of who they are, and succumbing to the love they feel for one another. Garrett The poor guy was a mess of fear. I adored him even if I was frustrated with him a lot. But you can't begrudge someone of their feeling's and he was a emotional wreck. He was having a really hard time with guilt, shame, and accepting who [...]

    • My Review:Wow, I really, really loved this book. I haven't read any of the rest of the series so I had no idea what to expect, but I was so pleasantly surprised by how much I really liked it. The story covers six years. The title may say "one night", but the relationship between Garrett and Blair is much more complex and long-lasting than it sounds. See, Blair is bisexual and he's come out, but right after he came out, his boyfriend dumped him and he never dated another guy (at least not that hi [...]

    • 4.5 stars!I really enjoyed this. It can be read without having read the books in the series before this, because while the other couples are featured, you don't need to know their stories in order to understand Blair and Garrett's story. So this was this author's first M/M romance novel and as a debut M/M book, it was really good. I read on her blog post that she researched the hell out of this before writing it, which I appreciate because she just discovered M/M romance and if she had just writ [...]

    • One Night with RhodesOne Night #4Eden FinleyThis was my first Eden Finley book. I really enjoyed this story. Great romance read between Garrett and Blair. Garrett was afraid to come out and tell his friends and family that he is gay. Blair who had previously came out to his friends and family that he is bi befriended Garrett and let him confide in him. They also had chemistry between each other but Garrett was too afraid of someone finding out. So he pushed Blair away. Then over the course of se [...]

    • 4.25 stars!Since recently, I've become a lover of all things angst. And this book had it and more. I actually really enjoyed this book more than I thought I would. The characters (main and secondary), the story, the writing were all things that really worked for me.The one problem I had was that there were too many other relationships that were inserted into this book. I felt like they were overshadowing the story. An arc was provided via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

    • 4.5 - 5 I actually almost skipped this one, I think mainly because I hadn't read the other books in the series. Then, one of my fellow bloggers gave One Night with Rhodes such a great review I couldn't resist. ;)Since I haven't read the rest of the books in the One Night series, I'm not sure how the earlier books played out. The title and description may elude to 'one night' but this book covered a lot more than that. It was actually made up of many 'one nights'. It sounds kind of confusing, I k [...]

    • One Night with Rhodes was such an easy book to fall into and just enjoy. It is the only book that I’ve read from the One Night series and the first Eden Finley book I’ve read. Reader can go into this book and enjoy it without having read the other in the series. Blair and Garrett have always known each other. Garrett is the older brother of Blair’s friend Hunter who happens to have the second book in the series. They’ve always been in the same circle of friends but never dated due to a b [...]

    • Hot damn! I'm going to have to come back to write this review. I'm not even sure how I ended up reading this one bc not one person I follow or are friends with, have read it AND THATS A DAMN SHAME bc this book HAD me. Side note, I have not read any of the other books In this series, can definitely read as a standalone. I've been on a strictly MM binge diet for the last several months & can't seem to get off this train. Another side note, Garrett will most likely drive u bat shit crazy! There [...]

    • I don't know if it's because I haven't read the first three books (although from reading this one, I get the feeling that there is a LOT of overlap with the characters and what's going on in their books and this one, so I never felt lost or anything) but I felt like this book really, really dragged and I struggled to even finish it. I'm usually fine with books that switch perspective and go through a long span of time, but for whatever reason it was hard to remember whether the chapter was Blair [...]

    • Review to come soon. *I received an ARC of this title via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own. *

    • I'll start by saying, the story was good, and I completely understand how messed up Garrett was. I know he had to work out his issues and face his past demons and make amends for his past mistakes and transgressions, but I really wish the author had concentrated more on him trying to get the help he needed earlier in the story, so the main characters could have had more page time as a couple. The majority of this book is spent with Garrett and Blair either in a relationship with other people or [...]

    • I got this book as an ARC from NetGalley. Normally I will not read a book in the middle of a series, I will go back and start with the first one, but since I got an advanced copy of this, I read it. Plus it sounded really good. AND it was--I was not disappointed at all. I actually absolutely loved it! ONWRhodes has all my favorite elements of a novel for instance: it was all in first person with chapters either from the point of view of Blair or Garret, kind of epic as it took place over several [...]

    • This is not an insta-love story, this is not a friends-turn-to-lovers and remain lovers ever after romance, this is not a second chance but rather a third/fourth/fifth change relationship, this is a really complicated story like many true love stories out there, that need time, experience setbacks, struggle to find a balance but require first that each party involved solves its own issues. I liked that Gerret had the possibility to have relationships with other men rather than stick with Blair a [...]

    • I had to take away a star because of the epilogue.Prior to that I'd have given this 3 stars -- and while 3 stars doesn't usually mean "meh" to me, in this case it did. The core problem was that I never felt a spark between the MCs. And in hindsight I can pinpoint exactly where the lack of connection between them became unmistakable: at about 60%, when they were each blasé about the other hooking up with and forming relationships with other people.Well, hell, if they're each okay with the other [...]

    • One Night with Rhodes is the fourth book in the one night series by Eden Finley. I was hesitant to pick this one up, because it is the fourth book in a series that I have not read. But I am very happy that I did.It is a story of struggle. It may have been one night that changed things between the MC's, but the story encompasses six years of ups and downs. On-agains and off-agains.Blair Rhodes came out as bisexual to his friends because he was in a relationship with a man, only for the man to dum [...]

    • This is a coming to terms with oneself type of story. Garret and Blaire are coming to terms with their sexuality and being in a relationship with each other. This is one of those stories that you just want to jump in.(PSA: I actually read this book with reading the others in the series and it didn’t impede my experience at all. While couples from the others books make an appearance in this one, you don’t have to know their stories to get the most out of Garret and Blair’s.)This is a very c [...]

    • One Night With Rhodes,is the latest in the one night series, for me new,it could be readas a standalone.but I will pick up the others as well.It was a fun, light sexy read.about discovery yourself and your sexuality.Blair has a crush on Garret the older brother off his friend Hunter.Garret does not know what he feels but it isn`t pure friendshipth have some growing to doe book takes you tot the past most of the time, this can be confusingd slows the pacing. It did not bother me much, only that I loev [...]

    • Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for the ARC.I did not enjoy this book.It was too much hard work.I found myself constantly having to go back to the chapter headings to remind me whether it was Blair or Garrett whose point of view was being expressed which indicates to me that the main characters were not sufficiently differentiated.I realise this is part of a series but always feel that books should be readable as standalones:there was too much going on in this that I did not understand. [...]

    • Copy from netgalleyThis is the first book in this series that I've read and I really enjoyed it. It was fun and light, but had moments of tension that kept me reading. I like the whole 'will they, won't they?' thing so this book was right up my street. I liked the characters and connected with them as I got to know them more. All in all a good book that was well written.

    • I'll admit, I only read this book because I love the author's other books in the One Night series. MM romance-so not my thing. I'll also admit that I was pleasantly surprised. The story was relatable and enjoyable, still full of great characters, one-liners and the wit I've come to expect from this author. Will it make me a MM romance fan? Probably not, but if you're a fan of the One Night series then this is a must read. 4.5 out of 5 stars :)

    • Ooo I'm intrigued. Very new-to-me author intrigued indeed will try with KU first though :-)!!Borrowing off Kindle Unlimited.

    • Remarkable journey This is not one of those stories that has a little fluff and an HEA oh no! This is a grab you by the balls, gets your attention, and guts you kind of stories. I found my emotions on a rollercoaster ride of epic proportions throughout this book. The ups and downs, insecurities and all around struggles of these two men were so on point that it made me sob by the time I made it to the end.Brilliant writing and witty dialog earns this book a spot in the re-read category.

    • 3.5 Stars. One Night with Rhodes is the 4th book in the One Night Series but is easily read as a stand alone (I haven't read the previous books). Overall, its a sexy, enjoyable but angst-filled book. This was my first Eden Finley book and I really enjoyed it. I'll definitely be looking to see what else she has written. This book covers a six year time span and I have to admit I was a little confused at first. I thought maybe I was dealing with flashbacks (turns out I wasn't) and the first few cha [...]

    • I was provided with one copy of this book at no charge in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own. Review first posted on Nautical Star Books .One Night with Rhodes by Eden Finley is Book 4 of the One Night series. It can be read as a stand-alone story, however, to really understand all the other characters you should probably read the other books first. I have not read any of the other books and while the story line made sense, there were definitely personal dynamics in the group [...]

    • This was the first book of the series I've read, so I didn't get the back story of all the other characters before jumping into this one. So just be aware that all the other relationships and how they all connect gets a bit confusing throughout this one at times. However, I really enjoyed this book and thought it was one of the better M/M books I've read in a while.Blair Rhodes is a bisexual man living in Queensland and working as a production assistant at a studio. He's been more into women tha [...]

    • This book truly gave me a headache. It was one gigantic flashback and a true feeling of an incomplete ending. Garrett is the older brother of Blair's friend, Hunter. Blair has had a crush on Garrett, who has been struggling with his sexuality since high school. Blair is bisexual, but the way he's written is that Garrett is the only man he's truly been hooked on, preferring to date women but never committing to them.As it's said in the book many times, they are toxic for each other. And they prov [...]

    • ** ARC provided by NetGalley for an honest review **One Night with Rhodes by Eden Finley is a light sexy M/M romance. New to Ms. Finley's work I was excited to read and conquer another M/M novel. This romance takes you on a journey with Blair Rhodes and Garrett who have grown up together, friends in common, but behind their persona lies their secret sexuality. For Blair, his friends and family have known him to be "bi" but when his sights have always been on Garrett things take a turn. "Blair wa [...]

    • Really loved this book and even though it is part of a series and I haven't read the others in the series I had no problem following the story and supporting characters.Blair has always known he was attracted to men but never told any of his friends till recently that he is bi. When heartbreak leaves his reeling and needing a shoulder to cry on he shows up at his best friend's (Ryan) house. Ryan is out but his brother Garrett is home and offers to lend Blair a shoulder. Blair almost turns down t [...]

    • First time reading Eden Finley's books and ill say this, I can't wait to read more. Even if this is book 4 I understood what was all happening, but I'll be reading the other's when I can. Both Garrett and Blair do have a history, Blair is best friends with Ryan 'Hunter' who is Garrett's baby brother and all attended high school together with their other friends. Blair was attractive to Garrett since then but never said anything. Blair being Bi has come as a shock to his friends and even more hurt [...]

    • *I voluntarily read a review copy of this book. All opinions stated are solely my own and no one else's*I enjoyed this book - the author takes you on one messy, crazy yet wild ride. Garrett and Blair have a hot/cold sort of relationship over a 5yr period. Blair accepts his bi sexuality whereas, Garrett spends most of his time in denial or running away from the one man he wants the most. Garrett was a complex character - he's confused, conflicted, struggling to accept his sexuality and hasn't com [...]
